Sunday 15th March witnessed a second consecutive victory for OULRC on the tideway. The occasion also marked the first time the lightweight women raced on the Championship course. After a tussle up to Hammersmith, OULRC pulled away from Cambridge with a relaxed and commanding rhythm. Coming past St. Paul's the crew opened up to clear water and stepped away until Barnes Bridge. The weekend as a whole was a resounding success, with the spare pair also winning a memorable victory the day before - coming back from 3 lengths down to win by a canvas.
